Earth Crisis es una banda de hardcore metal perteneciente al vegan straight edge, son de Nueva York y están activos desde 1989. Su música y mensaje han dejado una marca profunda en la escena hardcore y metalcore ya que cuentan con un compromiso político y social.
Earth Crisis nació en 1989 en Syracuse, Nueva York, inicialmente como un proyecto paralelo de músicos vinculados a la escena straight edge. Desde sus primeros años, la banda se definió por su militancia vegana y libre de drogas, convirtiéndose en un referente del movimiento vegan straight edge. Su nombre proviene del álbum homónimo de Steel Pulse (1984), cuya portada reflejaba conflictos sociales y políticos que la banda adoptó como bandera.
Su sonido agresivo, riffs pesados, voces intensas y letras que abordan la defensa de los animales, la crítica al consumo de drogas y problemáticas sociopolíticas.
