Fueron pioneros en usar dos vocalistas simultáneos, lo que amplificó su agresividad sonora y los convirtió en referentes del caos organizado.
Desde sus primeras grabaciones con John Peel en la BBC —las legendarias Peel Sessions— ENT se posicionaron como una banda que no solo hacía ruido, sino que lo usaba como arma política. Letras cargadas de crítica social, ritmos frenéticos y distorsión al límite definieron su estilo, influenciando a generaciones de bandas crust y grind.
Aunque comenzaron con una base punk, su sonido evolucionó hacia el deathgrind, sin perder el filo ideológico que los caracteriza. La muerte de Phil Vane en 2011 marcó un momento doloroso en su historia, pero la banda siguió activa, manteniendo viva la llama del ruido como resistencia
